Unfortunately I cannot find availability for your dates?

Sometimes it seems as if we are always full. If you are having trouble finding your dates, get in touch via mail, we are here to help. By moving room or changing one day we can usually find a solution.

What meals are served?

We offer a delicious breakfast daily, included in your room rate. Great coffees, teas and tisanes, homemade breads, cakes, jams and yogurt, eggs, local cheese and capocollo from Gianluca, our butcher. In the summer we serve evening meals two to three times a week. We alternate between ‘semi-formal’ dinner of local traditional dishes, a casual bbq or a pizza evening with pizzas cooked in the wood oven. We aim to supply vegetables from our garden and wherever possible km0 organic produce. Upon request we offer a simple cold lunch plate. Oh! and We cook with love. All of us sit together at one table, a great way to chat the evening away. In summer you will be served on the terrace under the stars, in cooler months around our family table in the dining room with a log fire blazing.

Do we have to bring drinks with us?

Not at all! We have a nice selection of Umbrian wines, Prosecco, Spirits (including a bitter from the Sibillini mountains) and mixers in our trust bar in the dining-room and down at the sauna terrace.

Do you have internet?

We have good WiFi coverage in all the suites, the communal areas, the garden, pool and Jacuzzi areas.

Do you offer cleaning of our room? Do you provide pool towels?

Included in your room rate our team gives your suite a light clean every morning, after all you are on holiday. We make a full change of linens every four days. Should you require a full cleaning service or more regular change of linens just ask. We do apply a supplement for this service. We provide you with a towel for your use at the pool and Jacuzzi area.

Can we travel with our dog?

So many of us are dog owners and at Bellaugello we know that dogs love to travel with their dads. We welcome well behaved friends. There are many great walks from the house without the need to take the car. We make a small charge for dogs. Just click on the option “Travelling with my dog” during the booking procedure.

Do I need a car to come to Bellaugello?

Bellaugello is situated in the countryside and to make the most of a stay we really do recommend a rental car. There is plenty of parking space here. Umbrian roads are not overly busy and there is so much to see and do. Car rentals are also available from our local airports of Perugia and Ancona as well as the train station in Perugia. If you prefer not to drive, we are happy to organise a transfer from the local or national airport or train station. Let us know and we will give you a quote. Uber, Bolt and similar services do not operate in rural Italy.

Can you do our shopping?

We offer a ‘Get Started Hamper’, a food basket filled with local goodies to stock your cupboard for the first days of your stay. To order the hamper, simply click on the option during the booking process. Wake up to fresh Italian coffee, there is a ‘Caffitaly’ espresso machine in your room. We regret we are not able to do personal shopping.

Eating out and places to visit during our stay?

Bellaugello is 14km from our local town of Gubbio. There you will discover restaurants, bars and stores in a stunning medieval townscape. Once you arrive we are full of great ideas of places to go, that is, if you can tear yourself away from our pool.

Can I get a massage?

We have an experienced and vertified masseur available once per week who offers sports massages as well as different kinds of relaxing therapeutic massages. Simply click on the option during the booking process, or chat with us after your arrival. In warm weather your massage will be outdoors on a shady terrace, relaxed by birdsong and the breeze in the trees.

Can I be naked at Bellaugello?

Bellaugello is clothing optional at the pool area and in the gardens, so you are welcome to sunbathe, swim, or be naked on your terraces if you feel like it. We ask our guests to be clothed for breakfast, dinner and in the communal rooms.

Can we get married at Bellaugello?

We love weddings! Bellaugello is fully licensed as a venue for wedding ceremonies. For same sex couples in Italy this takes the form of an internationally legally recognised Civil Union. Be it two or twenty, Bellaugello is the perfect intimate venue for you to make that special commitment to your man. Make your day really special and rent the entire property.
